70 meters mural with the Caribbean history @ Curacao @ the iconic restaurant/cafe Gouveneur. From the original habitants (Arawaks, Cariben (Indians) to the arrival of the Portugese, Spanish and Dutch people. And of course a main role for Tula. Gwen Jansen prepared the walls intensively before starting with the painting. After almost 30 years the painting is still there in good condition to enlighten and inspire a lot of guests. Welcome to take a look while enjoying your cocktail!

" The pride of the Grousters (the inhabitants of the Frisian village of Grou)"

A collage of the main sights of the village of Grou and the aspects of the village that the guests of the cafe are most involved with. Of course, the two owners were also depicted. Gwen Jansen took care of the idea and execution down to the last detail. This mural is also still intact after 25 years to put a smile on people's faces! Go and admire it. The Process

Write an email tot info@gwenjansen.com to let the artist know you are interested in a mural. No obligation. Gwen Jansen will then contact you to make a proposal. Indicate in your email:
-the location
-the dimensions
-the surface
-the initial ideas and the reason why a mural is being considered
-the timeline (when can we start and when should it be finished)

Gwen Jansen will make a proposal (in terms of global idea and associated budget) and will be happy to further customize this in consultation.
As soon as this has been mutually agreed upon, the planning has been discussed and the 75% deposit has been made, the work can start.
Gwen will first make a small sketch for approval. This will then be painted on the wall in large.

The painting is made
The painting is finished with a protective layer.
The final invoice will be sent upon delivery of the mural.
